Peter is a richly experienced consultant in effective business performance, talent management and HR strategies.
Peter began his long standing interest in Talent Management as GM for an Australian Biotechnology company, gaining substantial experience in Human Resources and working with the not-for-profit sector.
In 1988, Peter established and was Managing Director of Tanner Menzies, one of Australia’s leading Executive Recruitment Firms. Peter and his partners sold to Vedior Asia Pacific in 2001.
The merger resulted in Peter’s subsequent appointment to the Board of Management of Vedior AP as a Director of Operations. Peter oversaw the operation of several companies in Australia and New Zealand. Vedior went on to merge with Randstad, becoming the 2nd largest HR Consulting group in the world.
Peter’s last role with them was as Managing Director of the HR Consulting division, providing services in Career Counselling/Outplacement, Psychological Assessment and Leadership Mentoring/Development. He was also the Public Affairs Director and Director of Corporate Social Responsibility.
Peter’s current business interests include Tanner Executive Search, Australian Director of The Taplow Group an International Executive Search firm, and Chairmanship of The Inspire Group.
